Whit walk , the one that advocates ' making men holy'. This dray is from the old Tupton Methodist chapel Sunday school. The young fellow standing and hanging on for dear life whilst depicting a minister could be Andrew Bradley, son to Keneth Bradliey who is shown in other pictures on your web site. The dray depicts continents around the world and next to the 'Africa' sign is a model of a 'African hut', within that hut sat myself complete with non PC face makeup. As you will know each year someone of note would be invited to judge the drays on the walk. This particular year it was Mr Roberts , the headmaster of Tupton junior school. I remember him coming up to me and talking. Before we place it on the Whit Walk page we need to establish the year if possible. Likely to be mid sixties.
